I don't think there's any way of knowing, maybe don't be too hasty buying anything and keep checking the graphs displayed?

You should check the graphs. With them, you can help predict the future of items. :) And, if the item is popular and being bought out, it's going to go up. If it's being dumped by a Merchanting clan, it's going to go down and most likely buy instantly.

It's always a risk merchanting. As for the selling, it depends on the item. What item were you considering?

Okay, well Whips seem smart. Just make sure the graphs say it's stable.

Be sure to remember: Patience is a very important thing! :) if your item drops lower then normal, just be patient and wait till the price satifies you. :)

if theres 1 thing i've learned about merching, its that its always a risk, and you should always check graphs. i can tell you that bars and ores dont merch well, and dont think twice about buying something. i was thinking about buying a dragon full helm back when it was only 13m, and it was right before it shot up to 33m. i was soo angry :@ that it went up that high, and i could have made a 20m profit out of it. o well, live and learn.

I'm a former staff member and management member. I came to Runeaid in July of 2010. I enjoyed a wonderful time when runeaid was thriving and vibrant. I worked my way from mod to global mod to management member in 4 months, and became a member of the management team in 2011. As much fun as Runeaid was, in September of 2011, due to personal issues and real life issues, I left Runeaid. I don't want to go into details as to why, but I know why I left. I might come back, but it is unlikely. Feel free to send me a private message, and i'll be happy to talk about my experiences here at Runeaid.

hmm really the only way to check if any item is going up or down, in my opinion is going to world 2 and seeing the supply and demand. When the demand is high, prices usually go up or will be going up soon.
