So Jagex is bringing back Legacy Mode, my guess is within around a month - but we'll see. Not sure how much testing they have left. How do you feel that this change will impact the game? Now we have two combat systems, both not fully perfect but still two different ones in the same game.

Also, will Oldschool suffer from this?

Does anyone feel like the hits are higher than previously in old RS? I'm hitting 440s like they're oreos.. Maybe a bad comparison but I do love oreos. O_O

Legacy mode is great, haven't noticed any crazy hits. But then again I don't really remember how they used to be.

Well in Legacy you shouldn't be hitting that high? in Old Runescape it was almost impossible to hit a 440.

I did some research. To make it on par with EoC I think they had to make combat a little bit stronger so that way it would match up. But with newer gear it was definitely easier to hit higher. Kolton, your account is maxed melee so it shouldn't be too hard with those stats.

Kolton is maxed melee? I though I was doing better in melee then him, I'm almost maxed melee. Also that makes a lot of sense.

I checked on the highscores page of Runeaid under tools. The account Runeaid which is listed on his profile has 99 attack, strength, defense, and constitution. Not too bad. :o He also has 80 range and 81 mage... I'm going to go train now!

Haha sorry Rob, I recently maxed out Melee. Slowly pushing Range/Mage towards that direction as well. Right now Legacy gives great xp/hour for range at dagannoths and mage in the abyss but I don't have the money nor desire to grind that out. You guys should though!

Oh no, I'll go get a jump start then. :D I just got a Bunyip unlocked with 68 summoning, so I'm going to be hopping back into Slayer again.
