I was just thinking that it would be awesome if Runeaid had a notification system (like Facebook has). Like when you subscribe to a certain topic or post or person, something would let you know exactly when somebody replied to your topic or whatever you had subscribed to.

Give your ideas/ suggestions on this if you like my idea.

Thanks

Okay, we actually do have this option! :)

For subscribing to threads, click 'Watch Topic' at the top of the thread by the 'Add Reply' button. Then, select how you'd like to have it notify you (Immediate Notification is what you're looking for.) The same goes for a particular forum, just find the button, click it, and set how you'd like to be notified. :D

That sounds like for a specific thing, but I'm talking about immediately showing the person that there is a new comment.

Not really Kolton, he wants a feature, that will allow you to Suscribe to a certain thread, so you get updates when there is activivity on that certain thread.

I think Blake is talking about something that will automatically notify you. Like for example, since this is the first time I've posted on here, i'll automatically be updated as to when another post is made, WITHOUT having to subscribe to every thread that I post on. Personally I always found it annoying when I had to go searching through all these threads just so I can find out what someone said on my thread.

I'm a former staff member and management member. I came to Runeaid in July of 2010. I enjoyed a wonderful time when runeaid was thriving and vibrant. I worked my way from mod to global mod to management member in 4 months, and became a member of the management team in 2011. As much fun as Runeaid was, in September of 2011, due to personal issues and real life issues, I left Runeaid. I don't want to go into details as to why, but I know why I left. I might come back, but it is unlikely. Feel free to send me a private message, and i'll be happy to talk about my experiences here at Runeaid.
